The Latest Addition - July 2007

Our new dog, Brio. He's 8 months old and from the pound. Not quite sure... but probably a springer spaniel - black lab mix.

It took us nearly two weeks to name this handsome guy. After much debate we settled on "Brio." It was a done deal when we looked the word up and discovered it has middle Welsh origins meaning honor, dignity and authority as well as active, spirited and vigorous. That fits Brio to a T.

COLLIN IS DRIVING !!!!!

Collin turned 16 on June 19th. He took his driving test two days later and passed with such a high score that the DMV lady acutally made a copy of his test to show his skeptical mother.

Collin takes after his dad.. a natural musician. He's self-taught on guitar... he practices daily and is getting good. There are some nights when we wonder.. is that Collin or a Jimi Hendrix CD?

Charleston - June 2007

For a few day in early June we visited Charleston during the Spoleto Festival. There's Tom with this year's poster featuring composer Philip Glass. We stayed with pal Kevin... affectionally known to our kids as "Uncle Ken."

This is Kevin's dog Jack. He's one of our all time favorite pups.
